We're excited to hear your music!

We're don't judge your song.  We present your song to our listeners and they decide the rating.

They'll be asked:

RATE THE SONG: 1–10, and, They can also tell you what they liked—or didn't like.

That's the whole idea behind Rate My New Song.

Artists Submit. We Play It. They Decide.

To make sure we have everything needed to prepare your submission, here's what we'll need YOU TO SEND US IN AN EMAIL at: RateMyNewSong@outlook.com.

We will also create playlists by genre: ROCK, COUNTRY, POP, BLUES, JAZZ, CHRISTIAN & FOLK/AMERICANA-- and MORE!

In addition to each song being featured in a playlist, Artist Playlists by name will be made when an artist has three or more songs featured on Rate My New Song.

SONG SUBMISSION & RIGHTS/PERMISSION AGREEMENT

By submitting a song, recording, artwork, video, biography, photograph, or other material (“Submission”) to Rate My New Song, I agree to the following:

  1. OWNERSHIP AND AUTHORITY

I represent and warrant that:

  • I am the owner of, or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions for, the material I am submitting.
  • I have the legal authority to grant the permissions contained in this Agreement.
  • The Submission does not knowingly infringe upon the copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, contractual, or other rights of any person or entity.
  • Where other persons have contributed to the Submission—including songwriters, composers, performers, producers, musicians, photographers, artists, or other rights holders—I have obtained any permissions necessary to authorize the uses described in this Agreement.
  • I am at least 18 years of age, or I have obtained the authorization of my parent or legal guardian to submit the material.
  1. PERMISSION TO USE THE SUBMISSION

I grant Rate My New Song and its owners and operators a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, perform, transmit, distribute, publish, and otherwise use the Submission for purposes related to Rate My New Song, including:

  • Featuring and presenting the Submission on the Rate My New Song YouTube channel;
  • Creating and publishing promotional clips, excerpts, Shorts, trailers, and other promotional material relating to Rate My New Song;
  • Displaying the submitted thumbnail, artwork, photographs, artist name, stage name, biography, and other information provided by me in connection with the Submission;
  • Promoting the Submission and Rate My New Song on YouTube and other social-media or promotional platforms;
  • Including the Submission in playlists, compilations, rankings, listener-choice features, artist playlists, or other Rate My New Song programming;
  • Promoting episodes or previously published programming featuring the Submission.

This license does not transfer ownership of my music, recording, artwork, video, or other intellectual property to Rate My New Song.

  1. EDITING AND PRESENTATION

I understand that Rate My New Song may make reasonable technical or editorial modifications to submitted material, including trimming, formatting, resizing, adding graphics, adjusting audio or video for technical presentation, or combining the material with other program elements.

Such modifications may be made for production, presentation, promotional, or technical purposes.

  1. NO GUARANTEE OF PUBLICATION; RIGHT TO REMOVE

I understand that submitting a Submission does not guarantee that Rate My New Song will publish or feature it.

Rate My New Song reserves the right to refuse, postpone, remove, suspend, or discontinue any Submission at any time and for any reason, including questions concerning ownership, licensing, copyright, content, suitability, or other rights.

  1. COMPENSATION

Unless separately agreed in writing, I understand that no payment, royalty, or other compensation will be owed to me for the use of my Submission under this Agreement.

  1. LISTENER RATINGS AND COMMENTS

I understand that my Submission may be presented to the public for listener evaluation.

Listener ratings, comments, reviews, and opinions may be publicly displayed or discussed as part of the program.

I understand that Rate My New Song does not guarantee any particular rating, number of views, comments, streams, sales, followers, or other promotional results.

I understand that listener opinions are subjective and that Rate My New Song does not guarantee that comments or ratings will be favorable.

  1. ARTIST PROMOTION

I authorize Rate My New Song to identify and promote me as the artist, performer, songwriter, or other contributor associated with the Submission and to provide links to websites, streaming services, social-media accounts, or other destinations that I provide.

I understand that selection or publication of my Submission does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee regarding my music or its commercial potential.

  1. THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AND REMOVAL

I understand that Rate My New Song may receive a claim, complaint, or notice from a third party alleging that the Submission infringes or violates that party's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.

If Rate My New Song receives such a claim or otherwise has reason to question the rights associated with a Submission, Rate My New Song may, in its sole discretion, immediately remove, disable, or suspend the Submission from publication while the matter is investigated or resolved.

Such removal or suspension does not constitute an admission that the claim is valid and does not create any liability on the part of Rate My New Song for removing or suspending the Submission.

Rate My New Song may request documentation or other information from the submitting artist demonstrating that the artist has the necessary rights and permissions.

The Submission may be restored if Rate My New Song determines, in its discretion, that the matter has been satisfactorily resolved.

The submitting artist remains responsible for resolving any dispute arising from rights they represented that they possessed when submitting the Submission.

  1. WITHDRAWAL

I may request that my Submission be removed from future Rate My New Song programming by contacting Rate My New Song in writing.

Rate My New Song will make reasonable efforts to honor such a request for future programming.

I understand that removal of a Submission does not necessarily require removal of previously published episodes, promotional material, clips, screenshots, social-media posts, playlists, compilations, or other material that has already been published, distributed, or shared.

  1. RETENTION OF SUBMITTED MATERIAL

I understand that Rate My New Song may retain copies of submitted materials for administrative, recordkeeping, archival, technical, or previously published-program purposes.

  1. OWNERSHIP

Except for the limited license granted in this Agreement, I retain ownership of my Submission and the intellectual property rights I own in that Submission.

Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of my copyright or other intellectual property to Rate My New Song.

  1. ACCEPTANCE

By submitting my material, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this Agreement and agree to its terms.

I confirm that I own or control the necessary rights to the material I am submitting, or have obtained all necessary permissions from the applicable rights holders, and I authorize Rate My New Song to use my Submission as described in this Agreement.
